1)Tell us in brief about your journey to getting admission into a German University. (Describe about scope for your field)
I had good clarity on what I wanted to study and what I wanted to eventually become. I just needed some research using the DAAD website.
2)Is it really necessary to learn German language before coming to Germany? What is the scope for job opportunities if I do not speak much German after graduation?
Yes. It definitely gives you an edge when it comes to projecting yourself. Your scope reduces by a great extent unless you are the best in your business.
3)How much time is one given to look out for a job after graduation? What is different from studying in other European countries?
Around one year. I am not sure. But students generally follow a different procedure to find a job position. Other European countries (select universities) offer good scope too.
4)What is the cost of living in Germany? What are few of the cities to look for jobs?
You need around 8000 Euros for one year with which you can do some vacationing in Europe too. Areas around Stuttgart have a large number of companies.
5) Provide any other valuable specific information for the students who want to pursue a career in the above field.
I would advice students to have clarity and good focus on what they want to become. Take every subject and learn them with a foresight. Then, plan will meet proceedings.
6)Is it necessary to have prior work experience of 1-3 years in India before applying for Masters to get admissions in top universities?
Work experience in reputed core companies in India gives applicants an edge when it comes to creamy layer universities.
